EGYPT – as a collective civilization and religious culture – is made up of citizens that are true Vampyres, themselves. Their mystical system offers both the most elaborate and complete preparations of the dead, but more importantly, interactions after Death. These teachings also describe a “star” (astral) source of humanity and all Existence, and that a “Gate” to a Heaven for “gods” connects this Otherworld.

Mummification is a very unique tradition rooted in a belief that Etheric Bodies can be aided in the Otherworld by preserving the physical form after First Death. The body itself is actually buried with an Ankh, specific scarab amulets, and texts from the “Book of Dead.” Each of these things provide specific assistance to the Self in the afterlife.

Precision of Egyptian burial practices eliminated any concern of animated corpses or walking Undead. Physical bodies are systematically deconstructed during the mummification process in such a way that the body does not come back to this life. Not only do the dead stay dead, Egyptians were masters in the ability to survive First Death with identity in tact!

Traditions drawn from lore of LILITH and her children – the Lilu – migrated from Mesopotamia to Greece by way of Libya, or more specifically, the first Libyan Vampyre Queen, Lamia. LILITH and Lamia both share a taste for child-eating and symbolic association with serpent-snakes.

Greek historian Diodorus writes of her distorted features, a penis hidden by the snakeskin covering most of her body and the furry paws of a cat. LILITH is also said to have been covered in hair.

Clearly hermaphroditic, each self-produces a horde of “demon-spawn” named after their maker. Where Lamia is cat-like (including an ability to transform into a cat), LILITH is usually flanked by a lioness on each side.

Eventually the name Lamia (and her “Lamos” hordes, plural) is equated with the “succubus.” In this form, the Lamia is able to reanimate corpses to interact with the material world and feed off living humans. The Greeks eventually discovered the solution to their Undead problem: proper burial – something the Egyptians had already mastered thousands of years earlier…
