White’s “Book of Merlyn.” The sorcerer may essentially do and become anything. It is this removal of trust and attention from abstract deities and concepts, placing it rightfully with “Self” that allows such an actualized being to be potentially the most powerful “system” functioning on the planet… and potentially the most dangerous.

From 1995 through 1999, Joshua Free assisted in producing not only several ritual collections—or “Book of Shadows”—for practicing underground groups, but also his own operating and experimental social circles, teaching workshops and lectures in local Denver-area New Age outlets and bookstores.

One of the popular workbook companions Joshua Free developed for his course on practical magick later expanded into the infamous Sorcerer’s Handbook by Merlyn Stone.

Simultaneously revolutionary and introductory in its delivery, SORCERER’S HANDBOOK—and early works such as THE DRUID’S HANDBOOK and DRACONOMICON—served as inspirational precursors to materials he later developed more thoroughly in order to establish the “Mardukite” brand of occult interpretation, including ELVENOMICON (formerly titled ‘Book of Elven-Faerie’), ARCANUM and remaining volumes of the ‘Mardukite Core’—such as NECRONOMICON: THE ANUNNAKI BIBLE and even the underground secret development of NexGen Systemology. It is due to the wider circulation of his more recently developed work that interests revived regarding early contributions and distant origins.
