NAMTAR [“Fate Maker”] — The ‘Black Magician’, vizier of ERESHKIGAL in the Underworld, also likened to the Assyrian (Chaldean) plague-god NAMTARU (also the Akkadian word for “pestilence”). From the ritual text given in Liber 9 found on Tablet-Q in the Necronomicon Anunnaki Bible or Necronomicon Anunnaki Legacy (Silver Edition), the priest is to make an image of the affected (sick) person in dough [flour], so as to force the ‘plague-god’ that afflicts the person to come away from the body and go into the image. The ancient tablets list the name of the plague-god as NAMTARU, and in other places as URA and even URAS (in Egypt). In the ‘Descent’-cycle, ERESHKIGAL summoned NAMMTAR, the Black Magician, saying these words as she spoke to him: ‘Go, NAMMTAR, imprison her [INANNA] in Darkness, in my castle! Release against her the Seven Anunnaki Judges! Release against her the Demons of the Deep…’ Then, finally, the representation of a ‘demon’, like the plague-god NAMTARU, was not intended for ‘worship’ or ‘veneration’ (as we might see glorified among today’s misguided attempts toward ‘dark paths’) as a deity. Such statuary typically was constructed only to be ‘ceremonially’ annihilated or buried as a ‘ward’ against what the statue (deity) represented.
NANNA {30} — The official lunar deity of the Enlilite Sumerian Anunnaki pantheon, the moon-god, reigning with his feminine lunar consort, NINGAL. The Anunnaki designation of 30 is significant to the approximate number of days in a month; whereby the original Sumerian calendar consists of twelve cycles of 30 days for a 360 day year (and the reason a circle is divided into 360 degrees). NANNA and NINGAL begot the twins: INANNA and SAMAS; thereby mythographically, the moon gave birth to the Sun and Venus is a twin-star to the sun. To the ancient, the moon was the ‘sun-at-night’. It illuminated the pathway for travelers and kept ‘watch’ as the people slept. Just as the sun is invoked to grant judgments of the daytime [see SAMAS], the moon is given domain of the night and dreamscapes (including the ‘astral plane’). The day, “Monday”, is obviously named after the moon – and is likewise sacred. The essence and color of silver is usually corresponded.NERGAL {8} – The official spouse (consort) of ERESHKIGAL (‘Queen of the Underworld’). NERGAL corresponds to the symbol and energetic current of Mars, with a fiery and destructive nature commemorated in the Babylonian epithet ERRA (“Annihilator”). The vitality and raw power of Mars (ruling Tuesday) is evident in the essences: iron and blood.
NINAGAL — An epithet meaning “Prince of the Great Waters,” the name appears for a son of ENKI, who in the Ziusurda (Atra-Asis) cycle is selected by ENKI to navigate the archetypal “ark” craft of the Great Flood.
NINGAL {25} [“Great Lady”] — The daughter of ENKI; espoused (consort) to NANNA (SIN) and the mother of INANNA (ISHTAR) and SAMAS.
NINGISHZIDA — The ‘Lord of the Tree of Life’, a son of ENKI and brother to MARDUK, known as Hermes and Thoth-the-Elder (or TUTU) in a time before NABU. He is a geneticist, trained under ENKI in the arts of life engineering (and reality engineering) that was later taught by NABU (Thoth-the-Younger or TUTU) and it evolved into the mystical school of ‘Hermetics’ (or ‘Hermeticism’). Having lost in the ‘Pyramid Wars’ (c. 3400 B.C. to 3150 B.C.) against MARDUK (RA) and not participating in the pro-MARDUK revolution of ENKI’s lineage, NINGISHZIDA establishes his own realm in South America, known by the indigenous people and tradition as QUETZALCOATL, the ‘feathered serpent’ (literally ‘plumed serpent’).
NINHURSAG {5} — The chief Anunnaki physician, the mother of NINURTA by ENLIL; a half-sister to ENLIL and ENKI by ANU. In an attempt to produce a royal heir or his own, ENKI even courts her at one time. She is not espoused to any of the pantheon, but instead serves the role of ‘birth-goddess’ and ‘midwife’ to the birth and raising of the Anunnaki children (of the Younger Generation), carrying names like MAMMI (“Mother”) and NINTI (“Lady of Life”). When attempting to relieve the toiling of the IGIGI faction of the Anunnaki, ENKI seeks out NINHURSAG to assist in the ‘creation’ of the ‘human’ race. Her response, being: ‘If ENKI will provide for me the clay, then I will make the creation’. In this antropogenetic cycle, she mixes the clay with the flesh and blood of ‘Awmelu’ (presumed to be a slain deity). In other versions, the ‘essence’ is more clearly semen and/or other genetic material. Cuneiform tablet records indicate that six different attempts are made before the ‘Adamu’ (the seventh) is fashioned.
